The Settings have three sections.

  • Login

  • Page View

  • Email Archive

Login Settings:

  • Default Login Page: Defines the auditor's starting folder (the default folder is Post Review).

  • Default View: Defines the auditor's starting view, List, or Snippet (the default is List View). Also, the view that is presented when an auditor returns to Email Archive folders from visiting other pages such as Compliance Rules or Preferences.

Page View Settings:

  • Records Per Page: Select 20, 30 or 45 for the maximum number of records (e.g. emails, compliance rules, offices) displayed per page (the default is 30).

    The pages that the Records Per Page setting applies are:

    • All Email Archive folders

    • Keywords and Phrases Editor

    • Whitelist Editor

    • Attachments Editor

    • Inbound Address Editor

    • Outbound Address Editor

    • Auditors

    • Offices

    • All Reports

    • Data Request History

  • Advanced Search Display: Select Advanced Search (expanded) or Quick Search (collapsed). The default is Advanced Search expanded.

    The pages that the Advanced Search Display setting applies are:

    • All Email Archive folders

    • Keywords and Phrases Editor

    • Whitelist Editor

    • Attachments Editor

    • Inbound Address Editor

    • Outbound Address Editor

    • Offices

Email Archive Settings:

  • Persistent Filtering: Select whether you want persistent filtering On or Off. If On, the current Advanced Search settings are applied to every folder you visit in the Email Archive section. If Off, the Advanced Search settings that are created for one folder are not applied to the next folder visited.

    Default Auditor: Select the user name of the Auditor that displays in the Auditors field of the Advance Search mechanism when visiting a folder. The default is your user name.

    Email Sorting: Select whether emails are displayed newest to oldest or oldest to newest base on the received date (default is newest to oldest)

    Date Range: Select the date range that is applied in the Advanced Search section when logging in and when navigating from folder to folder. The options are Today, Week, Month, Year, or Entire Archive. The default is Month.
