1) Bloomberg Settings Actions Bar

The Actions Bar on the Bloomberg Settings page provides the following options:

  • Add: Add a Bloomberg firm code and its associated FTP login credentials. When you have entered the details, the new firm code is listed as a row in the table.

  • Edit: If you select the check box for a row in the table, you can then click Edit in the Actions Bar to edit the details for the associated Bloomberg firm code.

To add the details of a Bloomberg firm code to AdvisorMail

  1. On the Bloomberg Settings page, in the Actions bar, click Add.
  2. Complete the Add a Firm Code dialog as follows:

    • Firm Code: Enter the Bloomberg firm code that identifies the Bloomberg customer whose Bloomberg messages you want to be able to archive.

    • FTP Login: Enter the FTP login name for the Bloomberg firm code.

    • FTP Password: Enter the FTP password for the Bloomberg firm code.

    • Confirm Password: Re-enter the FTP password for the Bloomberg firm code.

    • Enabled. Select this option if you want to enable the archiving of the messages for this Bloomberg firm code.

  3. Click Save to save the details to AdvisorMail.

    Note:

    AdvisorMail only attempts archiving if you have uploaded a PGP private key for the Bloomberg firm code.

To edit the details of a Bloomberg firm code, or enable or disable a table entry

  1. In the first column of the Bloomberg Settings table, select the check box for the Bloomberg entry.
  2. Click Edit in the Actions Bar.
  3. In the Edit Firm Code for code dialog, edit the details as required.

    Note:

    You cannot remove an entry from the table once it has been added. To disable an entry, clear the Enabled check box.

  4. Click Save to save the changes.
