NetBackup status code: 8622
Explanation: The host ID of the peer host does not match the host ID that is known to the master server and, therefore, the connection is not established. This error can occur in one of the following scenarios:
In a cluster setup, the active node is down and an inactive node becomes active. Mapping between the host ID of the new active node and the virtual name is not present.
Two or more hosts in a given NetBackup domain have the same host name.
An unknown host tries to spoof as the peer host.
Recommended Action: If there are multiple host IDs in your environment that are associated with the same host name, the NetBackup administrator should verify and approve the mapping.
If an unknown host tries to spoof the peer host, you can use the available network tools to find out which host it is and take corrective action.
