Viewing physical storage usage on the Velocity Storage Server
You can view the current amount of physical storage that ingested database sources and any associated sandboxes use on the Velocity Storage Server.
To view physical storage usage on the Velocity Storage Server
- From the Velocity Cloud Console, in the left pane, click Velocity Storage Server, and then next to the storage server, click the drop-down arrow to view usage details.
Storage capacity statistics appear only after the Velocity Storage Server has been registered. If the storage capacity statistics don't appear immediately, wait a few minutes and then check again.
Table: Physical storage usage on the Velocity Storage Server
Physical storage indicator | Description |
---|---|
Used | The amount of disk space that is in use on the Velocity Storage Server, including any space that is reserved by the system to prevent storage from filling completely. A warning for low disk space occurs when 60% or more of the available space is used. When this threshold is reached, the amount of used space displays in yellow. A critical warning for low disk space occurs when 80% or more of the available space is used. When this threshold is reached, the amount of used space displays in red. Consider reclaiming some disk space on the Velocity Storage Server. |
Available | The amount of disk space that is available on the Velocity Storage Server. The amount of available disk space does not include the reserved disk space. |
