5) Addresses and Domains
Use these fields to filter a search for specific FROM or TO email addresses or domains. Up to five Senders and Recipients can be specified. Only one address or domain can be entered per row in each list. By leaving these fields blank, results are unfiltered based on Sender and Recipient(s).
Once one Sender and one Recipient have been entered, the user is prompted to select the Boolean relationship between the Sender(s) and Recipient(s). The four options available are listed below:
This option retrieves ALL emails from either the sender (email address or domain name) or the recipient address (email address or domain name) specified. Only one condition needs to meet to return a result.
This option is used the most. By putting Address A in both the Sender and Recipient fields and selecting this option, all inbound, and outbound emails for Address A are retrieved.
. This option retrieves ALL emails from either the sender (email address or domain name) or all of the recipients specified.
If multiple recipients are entered, the only emails that are retrieved are those from the sender or those which include ALL of the specified recipients.
.
This option retrieves ALL emails containing both a specified sender and a specified recipient (either email address or domain name).
This option is used to find specific conversations. Buy putting Addresses A and B into both fields and selecting this option, all emails between addresses A and B are retrieved.
. This option finds ALL emails containing both a specified sender and all of the specified recipients (email address or domain name).
For one sender with multiple recipients, the only emails that are returned are those which include the sender address and all of the specified recipients.
