6) Text Search
Use the Advanced Text Search field to find the emails that contain specific keywords and phrases. The email's header, body, and attachments are searched for the specified text. The Text Search is a powerful tool where Boolean logic, wildcards, and fuzzy searches can be used. We search the entire email including the header, body, and attachments.
Note:
All keywords and phrases must be separated with AND or OR (e.g., John and Sally). All phrases with two or more concurrent words, must be enclosed in quotes (e.g., "angry mob" or "1234 north. Walnut Ave"). Do not use punctuation (e.g., commas, semicolons, etc.) to separate search terms.
Note:
Using the Advanced Text Search increases the amount of time that is required to process your Data Request because of the additional processing required.

Proximity Searches | Proximity searches let you find words of a phrase that are not next to each other within the email. Maximum distance in this example is five words apart. | "important document"~5 Returns emails where the word "important" is within five words of the word "document." |
Boolean Searches | By using a combination of AND, OR, NOT, and phrase searches, you can construct more complicated search conditions. | (important AND "document specialist") OR (SEC AND "private insurance"). Returns all emails containing both terms "important" and "document specialist" or both terms "SEC" and "private insurance." |
Grouping | Use parentheses to organize and group your Boolean searches. Expressions within parentheses are processed first and combined with expressions outside of the parentheses. | (important OR office) AND document Returns all emails with the terms "important" or "office" AND any email with the term "document". |
